Overseas adventures, my excuses and a bit of 'Bah Humbug!'

ONE. I'm baaaaack! Sorry to anyone who may have been following the Movember Project and noticed that they kind of dropped off the face of the earth. Usually with things like that I get bored or run out of ideas or lack motivation and give up (my 365 project lasted about 20 days) BUT this wasn't due to the aforementioned circumstances. As mentioned in the last post I left the lid off the whiteboard marker I was using and it dried out. Then I forgot to buy a new one. Then I went on holiday. Long story short it only just made it past the half-way point. I might resurrect it and do a giant 'make up' post later, but don't hold your breath.

TWO. I recently went on holiday with my boyfriend to Kuala Lumpur and Bali. I love travelling and seeing new places and all the history and intrigue they offer. Most of all it is good to get out of your comfort zone and experience new things. We basically made KL a "shop till you drop" destination with some sightseeing on the side (Malaysia's Year End Sale started on Nov 20 so we got some good bargains :D) and then spent our time in Bali sleeping in and lounging by the pool. Buffet breakfasts will be the death of me!

THREE. Christmas is 19 days away. And I am not excited. Does this make me Ebenezer Scrooge's long lost cousin? I have had no motivation to put up the decorations or even think about present shopping. Oy.

FOUR. On a happier note, I have approximately 6 months of holidays (assuming I passed my final exams) until I start full time work next May. My calendar until then consists of: many days at the beach, many nights out, a holiday to the Philippines and a short course in photography at TAFE. This also means that a lot of my time on the computer has been researching different entry-level DSLR cameras with reasonable price tags. Any suggestions?
